Today I'm sharing a truly insane piece of music. The Missing Teens and German Cars vs American Homes' James Call takes on Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. Using an usual palette of instruments (prepared piano samples, the serge modular sythesizer, etc) and incorporating various pop culture themes and references (Star Wars, Governor Schwarzenegger, Steely Dan, the Legend of Zelda) James' version of the story is unique to say the least. A fruitful journey into the mind of a truly insane person or just self-indulgent wankery? You decide! Enjoy.
